Belabaharr and Tabla Artist Pt. Naviin Gandharv (Born 20 December 1976) plays the unique instrument ‘Belabaharr’ which was invented nearly 4 decades ago by his father Pt. Babulal Gandharv. Belabaharr is one-of-a-kind instrument that merges the principles of Violin, Sarangi and Vocal music. Pt. Naviin continues to drive this legacy of the Belabaharr with single-handed efforts other than playing it differently with new creativity of poetic and aesthetic essence & in a world where vocal music has the highest preference. Belabaharr is not just a gift to the world of music but also the pride of India.

Pt. Naviin Gandharv is also a class distinct Tabla player with equal passion & dexterity which gives listeners a melodic and spiritual bliss developed from years of sadhana, listening and learning from great mentors legendary Ustad Allarakha, and many great Maestros whom he is inspired to.

He has been Awarded "Sur Mani" & "Taal Mani" from Sursingar Samsad from the hands of Pt Dinkar Kainkini ji & "Shrinathji" Samman from Sangeet Nritya Mandal Dewas M.P. Pt. Naviin has performed for various institutions like NCPA, ICCR, Essar Group, Lakme fashion week, IMG St Xavier’s college, Vedic Celebrations, and also Performed for various prestigious tribute events to legendary maestros like Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffar Khan, Ustad Ghulam Jaffar Khan (Jhansi), Acharya Ramnaryan foundation, Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Tribute for Pt. Omkarnath Thakur, and Durlabh Vadya Vinod at Ustad Allauddin Khan Music Circle Indore M.P.
