Nupur Joshi is an Indian classical vocalist trained by Pt. Vikas Kashalkar and Vidushi Shalmalee Joshi in Hindustani classical music and SS Chitravina N Ravikiran in Carnatic classical for the past many years. She has also trained in light classical music and Thumri under Smt. Kaumudi Munshi and Hema Desai. She has won many prizes at various festivals and has performed at several prestigious venues throughout the country. Nupur has been training students at both beginner and advanced levels in India and abroad. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics from St. Xavier’s, Mumbai, and a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai.

Her concerts include those at the prestigious Shivratri Sangeet Mahotsav, Varanasi (Kashi, 2022), in the presence of respected Ramesh Bhai Ojha (Bhai Shree ji), Saptak Festival – Ahmedabad, Bhavan’s Andheri (BCCA) and Bhavan’s Chowpatty, Mumbai, Sangeet Kala Mandir, Bhartiya Bhasha Parishad at Kolkata, and Shantiniketan.

Nupur Joshi was selected thrice for the ‘Guru in Residence Workshop’ at the NCPA, Mumbai, conducted by the internationally acclaimed Pt. Ajoy Chakrabarty (July 2014, 2015, 2016).
She has also passed the Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai exams with first rank (Hindustani vocal).
