Born in a Musical family Vinod Sehgal's father Shri Krishan Sehgal was his first guru who was working as a Staff artist in Doordarshan Kendra, Mumbai. Later on, he started learning from Padmavibhushan Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia. Vinod Sehgal is a Cine Musician's Association member working in Bollywood music for the last 40 years. Vinod had the privilege of working with all the leading Music Directors like Kalyanji-Anandji, Laxmikanty Pyarelal, Rajesh Roshan, Bappi Lahiri, Usha Khanna, Anand Milind, and many more.
