Famous Punjabi singer, lyricist, and producer Diljit Dosanjh is connected to both the Punjabi music industry and Bollywood. He was born on January 6, 1984, in Dosanjh Kalan, Jalandhar, Punjab. Due to his impressive achievements, Diljit Dosanjh has recently attracted a lot of attention. The shining artist made history by being the first Indian singer to appear at the renowned Coachella Music and arts festival, which has received international praise. Coachella is a yearly music and arts festival hosted at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert.

The singer Diljit Dosanjh from the Punjabi music industry and Bollywood engaged in a lot of conversation with the worldwide audience appearing twice on the 15th and 23rd of April during this festival and also becoming the first ever hyped-up Punjabi artist to play at the music festival. Netizens also posted the song list that Diljit performed, including some of his biggest singles like Clash and Lemonade. The singer kept the audience upbeat by interacting with them during his performance in his distinctive way.

Diljit Dosanjh’s attire, which included a traditional white kurta, a white turban, gloves, and sunglasses, brought the soul of Punjab to the stage. When he sang well-known songs like Do You Know, Peaches, Chamkila, Vibe, Jatt Da Pyar, and others,  the audience applauded him.

He asked in Punjabi to create the Punjabi and Indian essence to spirit up the audience, if it was hot in Coachella or if the Punjabi people made it hotter. He spoke to the crowd in English and said sorry to the security for the rowdy audience.

His most recent film was the Punjabi comedy “Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne (2022).” Diljit will next be featured in the Punjabi film Jodi, which will be released on May 5, 2023. Later this year, he will shoot the comedy film “The Crew” alongside Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon.
