It’s springtime and It’s time to celebrate. Pupils’ Own Trust came up with one more edition of Vasantotsav. This time it was different because of the pandemic. Vasantotsav ‘21 was an online event. While they celebrated ‘Parampara’ with melodious music. They also kept up with their parampara of bringing Vasantotsav to you, year after year. When asked to share the experience one of the viewers Mr. Rakesh Desai from Dallas said, “When artists perform to keep tradition (they used to have in their school days), they not only put their best effort but also their heart in the performance. This is what we saw during the Vasantotsav 2021 program. They were true professionals in the music they performed and kept the audience engaged for over two hours, even though it was online. Much better than the professional show I attended a few years ago! Kudos to artists and Pupils Own Trust who made it happen.” Another viewer Mr. Anand said, “Vasantotsav 2021 was a very well-orchestrated and well-organized show. The singers were very good and it was very well emceed by Khevana. The visuals on the background screen added flavour to the songs, too. The orchestra was top notch. Thanks for streaming live as we could enjoy from our home in Canada.” A viewer from Dubai Ekta Bhushan Navalkar shared her joy, “the program was amazing, with a new blend of old new Gujarati songs. It was a wonderful idea to do this live on YouTube so even the people who are based out of India could enjoy it.” Also, the singers were very melodious.” The show concluded with a thanking note to Raju Kamdar who took the responsibility of coordinating with everyone and Swar Aalap who designed and executed this entire event. It was an event that stood best to its promise of best, nostalgic, and Merry-going atmosphere.
