Florence + The Machine curate the theme song of Cruella

English Indie rock band Florence + The Machine will be marking an original song to the upcoming Disney movie Cruella. Walt Disney Studios treated the public to a sneak peak. It has been uploaded beside brand-new visuals from the film. The snippet of the song, “Call me Cruella” creates a sense of wild free spirit which was experienced in the 1970s the time the film is set in. The film drives to a dramatic upsurge of events. The viewers get to witness the madness of Cruella de Vil.

Enthuses Florence Welch, lead vocalist and songwriter of the band said during an interview, “Some of the first songs I ever learned how to sing were Disney songs. And the villains often got the best numbers. So to help create and perform a song for Cruella is the fulfilment of a long held childhood dream.”

The band has four iconic albums to their credit and have been nominated for six Grammy Awards including for the category of Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album. Addition to that the band made headlines for the popular Glastonbury Festival in 2015. Turning Florence Welch as the first British female headliner of the century. This is when legends and spectacular energies combine to create a monumental piece of work.
