The group outdid themselves by setting a record on Friday, 21st May 2021 for most YouTube views in the first 24- hours of the release with the new English song ‘Butter’. Touching approximately 113 million views by midnight ET, estimated by the platform’s public views counter.

They had set another record with their first English single ‘Dynamite’ in 2020. The video received an overwhelming response of 101.1 million within 24 hours according to the official YouTube figures.

The summer dance jam ‘Butter’ is all set to reach new heights with their second English single. Making a record for the biggest YouTube music premiere with more than 3.9 million concurrent viewers, and hit No. 1 on the U.S iTunes chart within two hours.

The Korean band confirmed at a Seoul press conference that their performance of ‘Butter’ will be screened at the Billboard Music Awards. It’s the first time that they have received four nominations in a single year. That goes to say the mammoth talent they all are gifted with.
